The unique project aims to interview significant figures in Czech psychology who have established this field since the mid-20th century, and to place the acquired information within a broader disciplinary framework. Often fascinating life stories of the pioneers of Czech psychology, memories of their teachers, the difficult situation of the field during ideological oversight, as well as testimonies of immense enthusiasm and commitment to the cause, the search for new paths, and reflections on the entire development of Czech psychology – all of this is captivatingly narrated by figures such as Ferdinand Knobloch, Ivo Pondělíček, Jaro Křivohlavý, Pavel Říčan, Vladimír Smékal, Ivo Plaňava, Stanislav Kratochvíl, and others. The interviews are complemented by author profiles, short studies on their work and contributions, and visual material.
