Beschreibung
The publication loosely follows the booklet 'Word, Word, Little Word, Quick Run, Song!' It provides methodological material for the development of phonemic awareness and basic singing skills in preschool and younger school-aged children. It contains 14 simply yet very purposefully set to music language games. The book is based on a large vocabulary, elementary and rhythmic means, basic musical forms, and especially on play, which is the foundation of all activities. The book is intended for working with preschool children, including those with communication difficulties and different mother tongues. Mgr. Milena Kmentová, Ph.D., graduated in 2000 with a degree in special education – teaching at special schools with an emphasis on music education. Since 2004, she has been working at CMŠ Laura in Prague. She also works at the Department of Music Education at Charles University Faculty of Education. She leads accredited seminars at NIDV and regularly lectures for the Czech Sokol Organization.
