This practically oriented publication offers activities, games, and nature themes intended for various types of camps (scouting, hiking, wilderness, etc.), including the increasingly popular day camps. It briefly describes the simplest basics of camping, as well as lesser-known camping and wilderness 'delicacies'. Each chapter includes games and ideas for exploring nature, all accompanied by practical visual aids. The book loosely follows (mainly in structure, but also in some themes) the publication Excursions into Nature (Portál 2002), which is the basis for the website Ostrovnapadu.cz (links and QR codes in the publication provide access to original ideas). The unique connection between the book and the internet allows authors and readers to supplement and permanently update the content in the future.
