The book will delight teachers and educators calling for a wider range of collective play activities with an unconventional yet popular tool – the parachute. It offers around fifty parachute games, and the last chapter is supplemented with games using ribbons and scarves. Playing with the parachute provides children with joy in movement and serves to entertainingly develop gross motor skills and group cooperation. The result is better coordination of movements and control of one's own body, as well as strengthening social skills and relationships.
