Authors who primarily work with children and adolescents present 43 different interventions, categorized by whether they are generally applicable or have a more specific focus; whether they require materials; and whether they can be conducted in a therapeutic room or at home. The interventions focus on solutions and finding successes, abilities, resources, good ideas, and exceptions to problems or moments without their occurrence. Each intervention includes the following structure: basic idea; method description; specific tips for use; indications; contraindications; suitable for (family, individual, group, couple). In the following section, the authors present a list of various indications such as aggression, autism, eating disorders, anxiety, or school problems, and for each of them, they indicate which interventions can be applied in their treatment. The publication is supplemented with ideas on what to do if the therapist encounters certain typical "unsolvable" situations. The book, with its clarity and systematic approach resembling a dictionary, has garnered significant interest in Germany.
