Beschreibung
The story of siblings Hanka and Jiří Brady, who suddenly found themselves alone in Nové Město na Moravě after their parents were deported. However, after a few months, they - ten-year-old Jewish children - were taken to the Theresienstadt ghetto. Jiří ultimately survived the war thanks to many fortunate coincidences, escaped to Canada in '48 to avoid the communists, and gradually became a respected businessman. However, he could not find any news about his beloved sister. It was only decades after the war that he was found by Tuniko Ishioka, the founder of the Tokyo Holocaust Research Center, who was haunted by a mysterious suitcase with the name Hanah. After many years of searching, she found Jiří and reconstructed the fate of his little sister.
