The book collection of fairy tales includes eight thematic areas, featuring stories for both boys and girls. Some fairy tales are from the animal world, others from the realm of fairy-tale beings, but there are also stories from kindergarten, where the real world of children and their familiar environment intertwine with the world of fantasy. The individual fairy tales do not follow on from one another, allowing the child to choose any fairy tale story to listen to or read each time. The length of the stories is suitable for reading aloud before bedtime. They are intended for children approximately aged 3 to 8 years. The book can be used by both parents and teachers in kindergartens or libraries when working with young readers. The fairy tales are complemented by magical illustrations from young Slovak graphic designer Katarína Ilkovičová.
