When Clover witnessed her teacher die during a dramatic retelling of Peter Rabbit, she began to feel a stronger bond with the dying than with the living. After her beloved grandfather, who raised her, passes away, she decides to become a death doula, a companion who accompanies clients during their final moments of life. However, the death of others occupies her so much that she has no time left for her own life. She spends most of her free days watching romantic movies in the company of her pets and has almost no friends. However, the last wish of a certain courageous old lady sends her on a journey to uncover a forgotten love story. During her complicated investigation, Clover must clarify what she truly wants and whether she will find the courage to embrace her own happy ending.
