When someone lives alone for so long, closed off in their own little microcosm, just like Sylvie, they inevitably become a bit prickly. Especially when life isn't treating them kindly. Sylvie has secretly loved her boss, Professor Lomax, for years and quietly hopes that he might one day get divorced and realize that she is the one for him. When she isn't admiring the professor, Sylvie helps out at the local hedgehog shelter. Life flows in pleasant monotony, and nothing special happens. Until the moment Sylvie learns that her beloved professor is indeed getting divorced. Could her hopes finally be fulfilled? She won't have to just dream anymore... But alas, the professor has directed his affections completely elsewhere – to a young and beautiful PhD student named Lola. After years, Sylvie wakes up hard from her dream, which she is not so easily willing to give up.
