This Czech-language novel follows Bailey, who, after several adventurous lives, meets his beloved owner Ethan in heaven. They are happy together, but on Earth a sad boy confined to a wheelchair needs help that only a wise dog with an old soul can provide. This becomes Bailey’s next mission, made more difficult because he remembers nothing of his previous experiences after returning to the world, not even Ethan. Life as an assistance dog is far from easy, and Bailey must use all his intelligence and understanding to help his new owner not only physically but, above all, emotionally. He takes on the task with dignity, bringing joy, love and hope back into the lives of troubled people. And Ethan is waiting for him.
