Sybil and Blake Gregory are a typical twenty-first-century couple: she is an interior designer, while he is a forward-thinking business analyst. The house is still inhabited by the Butterfields, a prominent banking family who lived there a century earlier. One night, they appear in all their splendour and with all the elegance of the era in which they lived.
