Get oriented in the new Civil Code! Revolutionary changes in civil law will affect everyone starting January 1, 2014. A new series of popular science publications comprehensively covering the entire issue regulated by the new Civil Code is primarily intended for readers who are not legal experts but need to navigate the new legal regulations. The sixth part of the entire series is dedicated to the issue of obligations arising from unlawful acts - delicts. First, we address the issue of compensation for property and non-property damage and the conditions under which a specific responsible person has an obligation to compensate for damages, including special cases of liability for damages. Attention will be paid to questions regarding the method and extent of damage compensation. We will discuss cases of abuse and restriction of competition and unfair competition. In the analysis of obligations from other legal reasons, we will focus primarily on unjust enrichment, and we will also mention the issue of unauthorized agency and the use of someone else's property for the benefit of another.
