Due to the different nature of the mentioned pedagogical sciences, the individual parts of the textbook differ somewhat in their approach. However, in all of them, the authors strive to establish a dialogue with the reader – whether they are a student or a teacher. In the textbook, alongside the main text, you will find notes, references to professional literature, interesting facts, and above all, a variety of tasks. When solving these tasks, you will best realize that pedagogy is not something we need to memorize like a multiplication table: many things we encounter in pedagogy we already know from our own lives. It is enough just to reflect on these experiences, confront them with pedagogical theory, and discuss them with teachers or classmates. If you are unsure about some tasks (in the didactic section), you can compare your opinion with the solution key. We believe that this will make pedagogy not only more enjoyable for you but that you will also better acquire "pedagogical thinking," which you will undoubtedly apply in your teaching profession. For educators, the interactive approach to some parts of the textbook is interesting. It will help them guide students towards thinking, independence, and collaboration with teachers and classmates.
