This Czech-language novel follows three strangers who should never have met but, to their misfortune, find themselves thrown together for a wild week marked by persistent lovers, psychopathic fathers and pebbles that sound wonderfully satisfying when they hit a rubbish bin. Their individual decisions gradually begin to unravel the relationships around them, along with the carefully maintained illusions they have built for themselves. Are broken noses, unwanted hands and unpleasant hangovers worth enduring if they can finally understand why their mothers died? And is it harder to leave those we love, those we hate or ourselves? After seven days, they find themselves back where they started. They only have to work out which direction to run in, and, above all, who on earth the damned Aunt Květa is.
