This anthology presents prose by fourteen contemporary Estonian authors, both women and men, who have so far been unjustly overlooked in the Czech literary context. It offers Czech readers an exceptional opportunity to glimpse current developments on the Estonian literary scene. The book includes fragments from novels and novellas reflecting the experience of occupation and a bilingual environment, as well as diverse short stories, experimental texts and psychologically focused prose in which unconventional humour blends with reflections on history. The anthology is compiled and prepared for publication by Anna Sedláčková, and its contents are in Czech.
