Měnová politika a její interakce s politikou fiskální (2011)

Readers are presented with a completely unique publication in the Czech environment. The uniqueness of the presented work lies mainly in the fact that it is the first such in-depth analysis of the interaction between monetary and fiscal policy in Czech economic literature, both from a theoretical and empirical perspective. The work is primarily inspired by foreign experiences and research, as well as the author's practical experience in the area of interaction between monetary and fiscal authorities. The publication fills a gap in the research of the interaction between monetary and fiscal authorities based on game theory in the context of the Czech Republic and in relation to the recent global financial and economic crisis. The established theoretical framework, including empirical application on data from the Czech Republic, represents a robust tool for economic-political institutions for analyzing the practical implementation of monetary and fiscal policy and the resulting economic-political implications. The presented work also provides an overview of the methods used to estimate potential output and describes their application at the Czech National Bank and the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic.
