The awareness of the limitations of possible knowledge is an important prerequisite for ensuring that the interpretation of personality does not venture into the realm of fiction, remains grounded in reality, and achieves an attainable degree of accuracy. Personality psychology is not, or should not be, merely a theoretical discipline, but also a field applicable in practice, and therefore the interpretation is also focused on the possible application of the relevant insights.
