Inspector Timothy Prévit is essentially still the same. Perhaps he operates on the idea that what is good should not change, or maybe he simply doesn’t care. And if someone else wants to change, they should do so and leave him kindly alone. For these reasons, he remains unpopular at work and lives apart from his family with his beloved Doberman Brit and parrot Esmeralda. However, his peaceful existence is disrupted by an investigation into a double murder. As if that weren't enough, another kidnapping is added to this case.
