High in the mountains of southern France, eighteen-year-old Ceci tries to live as normal a life as possible. Fifty years later, Annie embarks on a quest to find her long-lost grandmother. Armed only with a stack of papers, she sets off from England to Paris to finally uncover the truth. However, as she uncovers her grandmother's story, Annie also reveals something she was not prepared for, something that turns everything she thought she knew about her family – and herself – upside down.
