Zoje's life changes beyond recognition one day when she causes a car accident that results in a person's death. Even months after the incident, she cannot erase the feelings of guilt that torment her day and night, she endures the silent reproaches of her family, and on top of that, she struggles with a toxic boss. Nothing in her life makes sense, and she doesn't know how to move forward. On the other side is Marek, who recently lost his father. In his own grief, he tries to stay strong and be a support for his mother and brother.
