A series of historical crime cases in which the executioner from Schongau, Jakob Kuisl, his daughter Magdalena, and the medical student Fronwieser follow the trails of committed crimes. In January 1660, a priest died dramatically in the Bavarian town of Altenstadt. Before his death, he managed to draw attention to an ancient grave he discovered beneath his church. In a huge sarcophagus, the remains of a Templar knight were found along with a mysterious message left by the deceased for future generations...
