Dez is a former mercenary and enthusiastic amateur musician who is currently enjoying the sun and occasional gigs in California when an attack occurs at the hotel where he is staying. A team of top professionals attempts to kidnap a lawyer from a prominent arms company, Petra, who is also the daughter of its CEO. Fortunately, Dez is there too. After thwarting the kidnapping, and since he has nothing better to do, Dez agrees to help Petra with another hassle: a billion-dollar embezzlement. However, during the investigation, he uncovers a dangerous conspiracy aimed at leading to an armed coup and an attempt to internationally weaken the USA.
