Beschreibung
The Jizera is the ninth longest river in the Czech Republic, measuring 165 km in length. Its course passes through diverse areas, some of which are well-known tourist destinations (Jizera Mountains, Czech Paradise), while others are less frequented (Boleslav Region and Lower Pojizeří), yet still offer remarkable cultural monuments and natural beauty. The area is also home to technical and industrial sites, whether they are remnants of the textile industry, small power plants on the upper course, or our most significant car manufacturer in Mladá Boleslav. The book aims to present tourist attractions and remarkable hiking routes along the entire length of the Jizera.
