Beschreibung
Through the questions of Jiří Hroník, Miroslav Grégr allows a glimpse into his life full of twists and turns, which maps nearly all important periods of Czechoslovak and Czech history. He clarifies what happened in the early nineties with the privatization of the Mladá Boleslav car manufacturer Škoda, in which he was involved as Minister of Engineering and Electrotechnics. He describes what challenges the government of Miloš Zeman had to face, where, in his role as Minister of Industry and Trade, he pushed for the completion of the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant. An unpublished fact is that one of the members of the single-party government of the Social Democracy filed a fabricated accusation against him to the Group for the Detection of Corruption. He also reveals that in the summer of 2004, there were signs of Miloš Zeman's return to the head of the Czech government, and he was asked to facilitate communication between the two key actors of this plan.
