The book presents sixty glosses that the author read between 2017 and 2020 during the morning broadcasts of Czech Radio, along with a dozen columns written for the Metro newspaper. With gentle humor, he comments on everyday situations from family and especially partner life, discusses interesting or bizarre events around him, and, last but not least, witnesses the passing of time. Among the columns are also the Persian Princesses, which cost Petr Kukal his position at the Faculty of Arts at Charles University. The concluding interview with experienced journalist Josef Beránek touches not only on the circumstances of his departure from this venerable institution but also on his role as the manager of the Ministry of Culture's Twitter account and his dependence on writing.
