A man is found unconscious at the local racetrack and is immediately taken to the hospital, where he subsequently dies. Who was he? And where did he come from? He has nothing on him that could help identify him, and no one is asking for his body. Dr. Chris Rankin, a specialist who tried to save the unknown man – and who is struggling with mental health issues – becomes fascinated, even obsessed, with the nameless dead man and begins to ask questions. However, someone does not want the answers to be uncovered and tries to prevent it at all costs, even if it involves an attempt on her life. When no one believes Chris that someone tried to kill her, her only salvation is to find out who the nameless man was and why he died… preferably before she ends up in a grave herself.
