Lišajníky, machorasty a cievnaté rastliny (slovensky) – Kliment Ján (2023)

The reader is presented with a book that brings a wealth of information about the flora, and partially the vegetation, of one of our largest, best-preserved, and most beautiful national parks in an attractive and comprehensible, yet highly professional manner. It is the result of long-term collaboration among scientific and professional staff from the Botanical Garden of Comenius University in Blatnica, the Botanical Institute of the CBRB SAS in Bratislava, and other Slovak academic, university, and museum institutions. It provides data on the distribution and synecology of 1,803 taxa (species, varieties, and hybrids) of vascular plants, 462 taxa of mosses (99 liverworts and 363 mosses), and 458 species of lichens recorded in the national park and its protective zone, as well as in the municipalities in its immediate vicinity. A critical reassessment of the data led to the identification of numerous species that had been incorrectly reported from the area. The publication also includes an annotated overview of the researchers who contributed to this knowledge and a rich photographic appendix.
