Katarína Gillerová is a popular Slovak author who has already published twenty-one books. Her latest novel once again offers a captivating plot with surprising twists and themes that touch the heart of every woman. The immense admiration that fifteen-year-old model Diana feels for photographer Alan helps her overcome the pain caused by her father's departure from the family. Their relationship later grows into a passionate love. Despite Alan's reluctance to commit, Diana manages to get them to live together, and they have a daughter. Alan sets tough conditions in their relationship, but the young woman feels happy and is willing to fulfill every wish of her beloved man. After a while, a tragic accident in her father's new family intervenes in their lives, and Diana faces a life challenge: to forget hatred and help those in need. However, she does not always receive the recognition she deserves. Disappointed, Diana decides to leave and search through her family history from decades ago. As a result, shocking events from her own family surface, as well as stories of people whose greed and misfortune led to unprecedented criminal acts at the beginning of the 20th century.
