This book is not only an exceptionally well-developed textbook on machine design intended for students of engineering faculties at universities, but also a useful and valuable tool for everyday engineering practice. In 2010, the book 'Design of Machine Components' was first translated and adapted for the Czech environment by a team led by Prof. Ing. Martin Hartl, Ph.D. (Department of Machine Design, FSI VUT).
