The book SPACES is a collection of original texts discussing the theme of "space" from the perspective of visual arts, architecture, design, music, literature, and philosophy. Its foundation consists of Lectures by spatial creators that took place at the Faculty of Fine Arts at VUT in Brno and at the House of Arts in Brno. It contains a total of 26 texts by domestic and foreign personalities whose roles are irreplaceable in our culture, including texts by Václav Bělohradský, Eva Eisler, Peter Graham, Bruce Chao, Magdalena Jetelová, Ivan Kafka, Václav Kahuda, Richard Kočí, Stanislav Kolíbal, Matěj Krén, Václav Krůček, Milan Kunc, František Lesák, Jiří Matějů, Pavel Mrkuse, Ivan Palacký, Petr Pelčák, Jiří Příhoda, Martin Rajniš, Jiří Surůvka, Ján Studený, Vladimír Škoda, Alena Šrámková, Aleš Veselý, Jindřich Zeithamml, and an unpublished interview with Jan Kaplický.
