The new translated publication brings additional Czech translations of the Latin writings of Jan Hus, thus continuing from the previous volume (M. Jan Hus in Polemics and at the Lectern, 2015). It presents the Czech text of two more polemical writings by the Czech reformer and minor writings that Hus composed in the Constance prison; two of them have been translated into early modern Czech, and these older translations are also presented in the book in the form of a reader's edition. Furthermore, there is a critical treatise (Hus's authorship is uncertain) against polyphony in church singing, and the volume concludes with translations of poetic compositions in honor of Hus from the 16th century.
