The monograph addresses the previously overlooked phenomenon in the history of the Hussite Wars – the agreements on ceasefires between warring parties. It focuses on Southern Moravia, where an interesting corpus of these agreements from the years 1427–1433 has been preserved. Attention is first given to the documentary form of the agreements, which are then placed in the broader context of Hussite history not only in the region. The analysis of the ceasefire agreements enriches the understanding of the political history of the Hussite era, provides numerous insights into the history of everyday life, and deepens knowledge of the topography and prosopography of Hussite Southern Moravia. The book includes an edition of the examined documents, a clear table, a map, and an illustrative appendix.
