The publication deals with the traditions of Sunni Muslims related to birth, marriage, and funeral. Regionally, the work focuses on the territories of Syria, Jordan, Israel, Palestine, and the Czech Republic. It concentrates on the traditions of Sunni Muslims living in the mentioned countries, the traditions of Syrians, Jordanians, and Palestinians residing in the Czech Republic, as well as Czech converts. Selected traditions from these two distinct cultures (Arab Muslims and Czech Muslims) are compared, allowing for an understanding of the differences and similarities among their bearers, who live in culturally and religiously different environments.
