It explores fundamental questions including the different meanings of love, anxiety, loneliness and freedom. A second narrative thread offers glimpses into the final days of Jan Palach, whose act Lukáš attempts to understand in an original way. In his debut novel, Petr Prášek seeks to show how deeply philosophical thought is connected with everyday life.
