Rivers have tributaries that strengthen their flow. Novels have them too. They feature coherent stories that either directly inspired them or enriched them. In "Babička" by our Mrs. Božena Němcová, it is the story of Viktorka. I have now reread all my prose, selected passages that function, with a little adjustment, as standalone short stories or even novellas, and I have added my freshest novel, although it is still in progress. I arranged all the texts in the order in which they were written to reflect the time of their creation. This may be my opus ultimus, my last work.
