The landscape and nature looked untouched, transparent, beautiful on the internet, beyond all categories. I immediately longed to once again, for the last time, surpass myself, my fears of flying, heights, the unknown, my fitness, and age – and go. I wrote to a man at work who, like me, does not suffer from fear: We're going to Bhutan! Are we going? He replied promptly: We're going! The number eight symbolizes luck in Asian culture. That's why on Monday, November 4, 2019, eight cyclists gathered at Václav Havel Airport. It was clear from a distance that we belonged together. We were revealed by the huge boxes with bikes that we pushed in front of us on a cart... The journey through the land of the thunder dragon, mountains, monasteries, and all-powerful penises, the path through the kingdom of happiness, as Bhutan is also called, began. I still didn't know that the landscape and nature, but also the people there, are truly beyond all categories and that it would be love at first sight.
