Luna has two children, who are raised more by her parents than by her, but Luna considers this a natural kindness towards them, allowing them to have a purpose in retirement and enjoy their grandchildren. She does not know her daughters’ teachers or their classmates’ parents, spends little time with them and shares more experiences with her friend or colleagues than with her family, but this does not bother her. Divorced, she enjoys her relationship with Noel, loves comfort and parties, and insists that at thirty-five, the fun is far from over. But when she finally notices which films and foods her daughters like, and realizes that her relationship with Noel has serious cracks, it may be too late. Luna’s endless selfishness, lack of empathy and maternal care, her habit of shifting duties and responsibility onto others, and her thoughtlessness towards those closest to her all come back to her when she least expects it. Will she understand what truly matters in life?
