Beschreibung
In late January 1935, just a few shots were fired, but their echoes spread throughout the world. Germany, where the Hitler regime was consolidating its power, violated all international principles and sent a murderous commando into neighboring Czechoslovakia. The order issued by intelligence chief Reinhard Heydrich was clear: silence the transmitter. The fate of emigré engineer Rudolf Formis, who was broadcasting anti-Hitler programmes to Germany from a small hotel near Slapy, was sealed. The author follows this dramatic story literally day by day, and at critical moments hour by hour, until its final resolution, which took decades to arrive. The contents are in Czech.
