You have certainly experienced a malfunctioning washing machine, television, mobile phone, or something else. Unpleasant, but not tragic. We can call a repairman, buy a new appliance, or manage without it. But what happens when something goes wrong in a person? Do we replace them? Or do we turn a blind eye and hope they can handle it on their own? And what if something like that happens to you? Ema experiences a fateful love for a married man, but soon faces great disappointment that leads her to a psychiatric hospital after a nervous breakdown. After a month in the hospital, her doctor suggests that she start keeping a diary. It is said to be a way to open up, to express herself, and to restart her life after years of voluntary isolation. This diary is also supposed to include some kind of daily insight, which she will not read from a wise book or magazine, but will come to on her own. And so, filled with anger, irony, and a distaste for life, Ema begins to write...
