The book deals with issues related to the armament of the Czechoslovak military aviation in the process of its post-war recovery after 1945. It also addresses the process of rearming the Czechoslovak air force with trophy equipment, which ultimately occurred after unsuccessful attempts to acquire the necessary aviation materials from the East and the West. Finally, the book essentially presents an inventory of Czechoslovak aircraft from 1945 to 1950 in categories of training, transport, and courier aircraft. Fighter, light bomber, and helicopter aircraft, as well as gliders and sailplanes, will be the subject of the second volume.
