Beschreibung
Students Natálie, Katarína, Julka, Daniel, and Martin respond to a call from a charity organization to help teach English in one of the many orphanages in the poorest country in the world, Malawi, Africa. Equipped with medicines and advice, they land in the capital city, Lilongwe. Malnourished children, people dying from diseases, prejudice and indifference, but also endless despair – this is the reality they face every day. Nothing is as they expected. The Reverend, who runs the Home of Hope orphanage in Mchinji, asks the students for help. In a remote settlement, there are over twenty children whose parents have died of AIDS. The locals reject them because they fear they will bring misfortune. They need to be taken care of. The students agree. However, Katarína falls ill with malaria in the settlement and must return to the orphanage. Natálie decides to stay. The locals give her the name Irozi – African rose. She is attractive and blonde, which is an unsuitable combination for Africa. The students only understand this when an unknown man abducts her. What will her fate be? Will they manage to save Natálie? Will everyone return safely to Slovakia?
