Political correctness represents a controversial phenomenon that is becoming the subject of heated debates about politics, society, culture, and art even in the Czech context. This publication aims to explore the response of the Czech literary field to the demands associated with political correctness. We do not understand correctness as an exclusively restrictive phenomenon, but as an immensely complex and productive social phenomenon that shapes the poetics of "incorrect" literary texts and provokes debates about the meaning and nature of Czech post-1989 literature. The studies that form the core of the book do not shy away from popular literature, such as action fantasy or the works of Vlastimil Vondruška, alongside high literature and works for children and youth.
