The seventh volume of Deml's writings contains three books, published in the same year, 1926: Tepna, Hlas mluví k slovu, and Mohyla. In them, Deml provides a lyrical document of microhistory – both of the town of Tasov and of his own family and its roots, which he traces to the then German-speaking area of Hřebečsko in northwestern Moravia. Thus, Deml fits into the broad contemporary current of literary 'returns to the countryside' as well as into the even broader, pan-European current of literary regionalism. At the same time, however, the theme of Sokol is present in his texts, albeit increasingly conflictually. The Sokol note weakens – the regionalist note strengthens. Therefore, the sixth volume was titled V Sokole a v Tasově, while the seventh is V Tasově a v Sokole. The volume is accompanied by an afterword, an editorial note, translations of all foreign-language passages, explanations of realities, a name index, and reproductions of illustrations and covers of the original editions.
