Beschreibung
The 1990s represented a kind of 'spring of nations' for us and Eastern Europe, like a pruned willow sprouting anew. The author is glad to have fully experienced this dizzying period after returning from exile to Bohemia. One of the many surprises was the realization that while the Viennese soul, entangled in the labyrinth of central authorities, suppressed sexuality, and its power sublimations, is essentially Freudian, the Prague soul is structured much more Jungian. It was also a suitable time for reflections and self-reflections, and the fruit of these are these two volumes of essays on both individual and collective souls.
