The mutual relationships between feelings of happiness and satisfaction and personality traits have become a widely studied psychological topic in recent decades. The results of numerous studies have indicated that how satisfied people feel in their lives is influenced to some extent by their personality traits. The presented monograph expands existing knowledge from the perspective of psychology of lifelong development and, based on empirical studies, provides findings that suggest that the links between personality and personal well-being may vary at different stages of life.
