Based on the popular video game, this manga follows the Phantom Thieves, who use their Personas to confront the twisted desires of those around them. After being arrested and transferred to a new high school in Tokyo, Akira Kurusu receives a rehabilitation goal and awakens to the power of his true self, a Persona. Together with his friends, he takes on the role of a Phantom Thief and helps save people through the mysterious navigation app Mementos. Now the worldwide cyberterrorism organization Medjed threatens to shut down all of Japan unless the Phantom Thieves reveal themselves. A mysterious figure named Alibaba offers to deal with Medjed if they steal a particular person's heart, but the target is Futaba Sakura, Sojiro Sakura's adopted daughter. The Phantom Thieves must find a way to complete the task in time.
