The doctor heals, nature cures. The little sprite Ostružinka, the doctor of forest animals, knows this well. He lives in a stump cottage under a blackberry bush together with a little spider named Václav. But when the forest falls ill, every piece of advice is precious, and a human must help. However, adults sometimes overlook problems. What will happen to the forest that is destroyed by evil bark beetles? The animals flee to a new home, and Ostružinka and Václav are left alone. Thanks to the children, Karolínka and Kuba, they manage to return to the animals. A kind book full of charming illustrations by Jana Smetanová, including those waiting to be completed with crayons by young readers.
