A distress call brings investigator Sloan McPherson and the Underwater Search Program unit to a cruise ship off the coast of Fort Lauderdale, where a mysterious explosion has occurred. As it appears to be an eco-terrorist attack and other ships are at risk, a race against time begins – especially with a tropical storm approaching that could destroy all evidence. Sloan is determined to explore every lead, but the investigation overlooks key details, and the lukewarm approach of her superiors does not inspire confidence. What is really going on here? The closer Sloan gets to the truth, the more clearly she realizes that something much more disturbing is at play than the official explanation suggests...
