Beschreibung
Josef Klíma adapted Marek Epstein's screenplay for the film 'Charlatan' into book form. This resulted in a gripping biographical drama about Jan Mikolášek, a man with healing abilities. The story is based on true events, as thousands of people, including prominent figures from political and cultural life, turned to Mikolášek for help. Although the healer had no medical education, he had an extraordinary talent for diagnosing illnesses and curing them with herbs.
