From humble beginnings and tribal clans to vast global empires, human civilization has gone through many forms that have rapidly changed over time. Now it is your task to expand, explore, and utilize what countless human hands and minds have contributed. However, beware. There are other civilizations in the world, an ever-present threat of disasters, and worse – dark ages. Will you manage to survive and develop your civilization?

In the game Nova Era, players develop their own civilizations over the ages. They do so by expanding territories, hiring famous personalities, and researching and developing new technologies in an effort to become the most advanced and prosperous civilization. But watch out for global disasters, social unrest escalating into civil wars, and decisions that could lead civilizations into a dark age. Only the wisest ruler will be able to rise to the top and build the most successful civilization!

Nova Era is played over 3 eras. Each era consists of 3 rounds, followed by a scoring phase.
